Meet the Newest TRANSFORM Team Member, Herbert Sinnock!

Herb Sinnock

We’re happy to announce that Herb Sinnock is the newest member of the TRANSFORM Team!

Herb is pursuing a Ph.D. in Sustainability Management with a focus on supporting community-driven transformations toward a sustainable future. He is also the Director, Sustainability at Sheridan College and is responsible for corporate sustainability vision, strategy and culture, including implementation of Mission Zero, the institution’s ambitious plan to reduce energy consumption, waste to landfill and greenhouse gas emissions. Herb is an energy engineer with nearly 30 years’ experience working in commercial/industrial energy assessment, project management, teaching, and product development. He is a Professional Engineer, Certified Energy Manager, Certified Measurement & Verification Professional, Certified Building Commissioning Professional and WELL Accredited Professional. Herb holds the US Patent for the Distributed Energy Neural Network Integration System, is a Senior Member of the Association of Energy Engineers and Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and a Member of ASHRAE.

He was a key sponsor of community energy planning projects in Town of Oakville and City of Brampton. For a decade he was a member of Burlington’s Sustainable Development Committee and served as Chair of the committee for 2 years. He currently sits on the Board of Directors of the Halton Environmental Network and the Centre for Community Energy Transformation (Brampton/Peel).
